Alienware by Dell - Play Any Game - Anywhere

If you have a laptop and you love gaming, the two only go hand in hand to a point. Sure you're ok if all you want to do is play solitaire or the older strategy games. Even the newer machines with enhanced shared graphics controllers can fall short when it comes to some serious gaming. Its a physical problem really - the more you demand of a graphics card, the hotter it gets, and with laptop getting slimmer & lighter all the time, something has to give.
HP for one have had problems with the nvidia card overheating in many of the pavilion models.

Enter the Dell Alienware M11X, at last a truely mobile machine cable of playing any game, anywhere. With this machine Dell have built the unit with a deep enough chassis to give proper ventilation to the 1GB nvidia GT335M graphics card. Yet because the machine has an 11.6 " 720P HD screen, you get the true mobility aswell. With work patterns and home life becoming ever more devolved and people moving around more than ever before, the M11X gives you the chance to grab an escape to a virtual world at anytime -wherever you may be.

Sure the M17X machine is ideal for office based or desktop use, and you cant argue with the awesome 17" HD screen. Next to its smaller cousin though, it weighs a tonne, and would serioudsly weigh you down too if you're out and about.

I guess the above makes any purchasing decision easy - for desktop & home gaming - the M17X is the machine to go for. If you're more on the move, then the M11X just cannot be beaten, it's a superb piece of technology, and really built to last.
